The sister compilation to Putumayo's LATIN GROOVE, BRAZILIAN GROOVE offers a modern spin on the sultry sounds of Brazil - specifically the bossa nova and the samba. These songs incorporate influences like techno/house, hip-hop, soul and jazz to create a funky, trendy hybrid that fuses the best aspects of the past with the experimental values of the present.
